What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has gone on to undertake additional University qualifications and extensive clinical experience.
Nurse practitioners normally hold at least three degrees including a recognized masters degree allowing them to gain endorsement with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and use the title "Nurse Practitioner".
A nurse practitioner is legally authorized to independently and autonomously:
- assess, diagnose, and treat health problems
- Request and interpret diagnostic investigations such as blood tests, scans, and x-rays
- formulate and assess response to treatment plans
- prescribe medicines and
- refer to other health professionals

Yes! Unlike many other clinics, we bulk-bill ALL patients with a valid Medicare card, not just children and pensioners. There are no out-of-pocket costs for standard consultations.
No, private patients do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist. However, if you are claiming through DVA, Medicare (EPC), Workers Compensation, or Insurance Commission of WA (motor vehicle accidents), a referral is required.
Yes, we have ample free parking available on-site for all our patients, including designated disabled parking bays.
